The #1 request was for a lighter 3rd Arm model that still had the strength & versatility of the original 3rd Arm, and thus the 3rd Arm Elite was born! The Elite models are crafted out of aircraft-grade aluminum, with heavy duty parts and polyester non-stretch ratchet straps, all weighing only 6.8 lbs. This makes them them an amazing 46% lighter while still maintaining the unit's overall strength & versatility. Our customers also requested the option of having the 3rd Arm camouflaged in their favorite camo pattern. Well, now that option is a reality! We have teamed up with many of the major camouflage companies to offer you the option of customizing your 3rd Arm camera support system in 5 popular camo patterns! The 3rd Arm Elite comes in two different sizes for both smaller HD cameras as well as larger, heavier cameras. Both models, the 3rd Arm Elite and the 3rd Arm Elite Extreme, are built out of the same aircraft grade aluminum with a hardened steel pin that slides into the 3rd Arms universal mounting base! This gives videographers the ability to use both of the 3rd Arm camera arms with the same universal mounting base by simply switching out the different size camera arms to match your camera of choice. The 3rd Arm's patent pending mounting base has revolutionized camera arm support systems! With its ability to be attached to almost any tree, no matter how crooked it is, the 3rd Arm can be adjusted 30º side to side and nearly 45º up and down. All of this is accomplished with ease through the 3rd Arms quick adjust banana handles. New to our universal base is our all new Teflon receiving bushing which allows for not only quieter insertion of your 3rd Arm into the base, but also a smoother, more fluid swing of the camera arm around the tree! All of us at 3rd Arm are also extremely excited to introduce two new products to our product line designed for use with smaller video cameras. The all new 3rd Arm Mini and 3rd Arm Crooked Stick both have dual purposes. First, they both work great to capture a second camera angle for live cutaways while filming a hunt. Second, they work equally as well for an individual looking for a compact camera arm to film their own hunts. The 3rd Arm Crooked Stick is also designed for videoing your hunt out of the ever popular ground blind.
